March 6, 2026, PhilHealth VI (Facebook Post)– PhilHealth Regional Office VI through its Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO) Iloilo, conducted a YAKAP Live Testing on March 5, 2026 to evaluate system functionality and ensure the smooth implementation of the YAKAP program.
The activity was undertaken with accredited YAKAP Clinics and GAMOT Package Providers to assess service delivery from consultation to medicine dispensing. Participating facilities included Western Visayas Medical Center and Medicus Diagnostic Center and Medical Clinics – Gen. Luna Branch, where patient consultations were monitored to ensure efficient and proper provision of YAKAP services.
Following consultation, patients proceeded to accredited pharmacies — Vaximax Marketing Ventures, Inc. at Lapaz,Iloilo City, Lenus Drug Corporation, Jaro, Iloilo City and Generika Drugstore, Pison Avenue, Mandurriao Iloilo City for the availment of prescribed medicines under the GAMOT Package.
The initiative aims to improve access to outpatient services and essential medicines while reducing out-of-pocket expenses for PhilHealth members, reinforcing PhilHealth’s commitment to accessible and quality healthcare.
